I am Counselling Psychologist offering psychological therapy to both individuals and couples for a range of difficulties in Hove and Portslade, East Sussex.

My experience

 I currently work part-time for the NHS in Adult Mental Health services where I use a cognitive behavioural approach to work with clients struggling with a number of conditions including Anxiety, Depression, and Eating Disorders. I support and guide people to change unhelpful behaviours. 

I have a special interest and experience in working with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans people. I worked for two years at Charing Cross Gender Identity Clinic with people experiencing Gender Dysphoria and those either contemplating or in the process of transitioning gender.

I have completed relationship counselling training with Relate and I have experience of working with couples experiencing relationship difficulties. 

Prior to training as a Counselling Psychologist I worked for 10 years as a Sexual Health Adviser in the NHS counselling clients who had experienced sexual assault, who were struggling with a HIV diagnosis or who were battling compulsive sexual behaviour.
